Rotary Club of Arlington Celebrates 100th Anniversary and Honors Sushil Tuli with the Paul Harris Fellow Award

This recognition is awarded to individuals who have made substantial contributions to their communities, embodying the spirit of selfless service that the Rotary Club represents.

Sushil Tuli has been a key figure in the local community and beyond, guiding Leader Bank, a $4.4 billion institution, with a commitment to fostering growth and support for small businesses and homeowners. Under his leadership, the bank has become a pillar in the financial sector, known for its focus on innovation and community engagement.

The Paul Harris Fellow Award is named after Rotary International’s founder, Paul Harris, and is one of the highest honors bestowed by Rotary Clubs worldwide. It acknowledges individuals who contribute to Rotary's mission of service above self, and who have made meaningful impacts in their communities.

In addition to receiving the Paul Harris Fellow Award, Mr. Tuli was also honored with a citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, presented by Sean Garballey, State Representative from Arlington. The citation recognized Mr. Tuli’s exceptional contributions to the community and his leadership in fostering economic growth and opportunity.

Mr. Tuli expressed his gratitude, stating, "I am deeply honored to receive the Paul Harris Fellow Award from the Rotary Club of Arlington, especially as part of their centennial celebrations. The Rotary’s mission of service and the positive change they inspire globally is something I greatly admire. I am equally honored to receive this recognition from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and I look forward to continuing my efforts in supporting our communities."

Joining Mr. Tuli at the event to represent Leader Bank were Marc Romvos, Senior Vice President of Government and Business Banking; Mark A. Orent, Vice President and Senior Branch Manager; and Doreen O’Hare, Assistant Vice President. Their presence underscored Leader Bank’s collective commitment to community engagement and support.

The event, marking a century of the Rotary Club's contributions to Arlington and beyond, featured speeches from distinguished guests and long-standing Rotary members, celebrating the Club's rich history of charitable efforts and community service.
